We use VQManager e-portfolio, a web-based system enabling effective and efficient assessment.

We have regular External Quality Assurer (EQA) visits in order to retain our Centre status for all the qualifications that we offer.

Recent EQA comments

“the team’s systems and understandings of requirements impress as being thorough, well documented and well organised.”

“This was an encouraging visit. The impression given is of a united, industrious and knowledgeable team who have taken forward their practice, confidence and awareness in respect of the Awards they are delivering and the way they are working with learners. Critically too, it would seem that the Centre’s approach towards relatively new and complex awards has become embedded within the overall structures of the organisations in which they are delivering.”

Feedback from learners

“The VQ3 has helped me to understand why I do what I do with offenders”

“The RP Diploma has helped to professionalise our role and give us a benchmark for the standard we deliver”

“Doing NVQ3, VQ5 and the academic work to become a Probation officer has been really tough but very worthwhile and something I would not have been able to do under the previous TPO scheme.”

We are currently going through the process of assessment to become a registered centre with Skills for Justice Awards.
